Just an update:

I have finished going through book 1 editing. Now I need to impute it into the computer and then have another sample book done. With some of the changes in the format the text and boarders on the page I have been able to decrease the book size from 520 pages to 358 pages, this should decrease the sales costs per book I hope to under 16.00 per book retail vs. 20.00+. E-publishing wont change I am thinking of 4.99 per copy there.

That is a great thing for me. The story is the same the learning process continues about layout and saving space on pages, interesting journey.

Problem is my laptop computer screen took a dump, have some folks looking to see why it wont work and why even hooking up an external monitor wont work. Thus the book is on this laptop, this happened before I could do a back up. So once we figure out the problem we shall remove all data from the old laptop to this computer and to my back up drive. Then continue the process.

I hope by Christmas to have a New sample book, with the updated changed items to preview.
If all goes well, and if we have a tax refund next spring then I can e-publish this first book, and eventually print publish as well by April at lest a few hundred copies.

That is the goal. Publishing on a -0- budget is always a challenge.
I still hope to find some sponsors for the book as that would allow for some larger publishing and adds but one can never tell the future.

So life continues, challenges of life also continue, but in the end this work will be completed.

How to Grass Roots fund this Dream Project? Idea's and seeking imput from you.

I have been thinking today, the basics, working on a final editing by myself of the book, working in the evenings and weekends as time permits, drywall has been very busy and time consuming long hours every day.
So Once I complete this last look over for obvious issues.
I will need to find a way to raise the 2k to have it edited by 'First Editing'
Then the next step will be about 1k to properly ebook publish bookbaby.com with a few dollars left over for radio ads about book one for 2 weeks.
Then 2k to print and mail the 1st 100 printed copies of this 1st issue. So to fully fund this initial part of the project.
I would require 5,000. minimum.
Once book is professionally edited that will allow me to approach professional Agents with the book series idea, and look for those who would like to approach their Big Publishing companies with the book. But I need a clean book for them to promote.
How to raise it? thinking have nothing of value that I could sell to raise it.
So may end up going door to door in the county asking for presales of the book, and sponsorships from business's, county tourism advertisements, or such old fashioned idea's to fund this seed becoming a youthful sprout in the world of literature.
If only pre sold books at $50 each, would need to sign them, and offer incentives for paying so much for this 1st edition, like having a list of names at the back of the book for those who sponsored the project, allowing it to come to life.
Selling ad spaces 1 per chapter, 30 spaces available to local, non local business that would sponsor it. Life time permanent ads, both in the physical print book as well as the ebook versions.
So what do you people out there think on this idea for funding the project?
If I could sell ads for 200. each then I could presell the books for $23.99 each. and that would cover the costs as well or a mixture of presold books and ads.
At my income level it would take 2-3 years to attempt to save that amount of income. And only if life's challenges did not occur (as they always do) and it would be spent on fixing a vehicle or medical issues or ?
So need to find help on this part of the project.

All You Can Read - Is the future of Book reading / buying to be like Netfix and movies?

Found this on an Authors site, Great question for the worlds readers.

Would you use a business for reading books that was set up like Netflix is for movies?

A monthly fee to read all the books you desire?

Read this professional look at this idea, would you the customer benifit? yes.

But would the Author or Publisher system benifit or end up producing for virtually no incomes for the years it takes and efforts of many to produce a great book?

Read it, and comment what you think, feel about this possible future for book readers.

Association of Authors' Representatives, Inc. - All You Can Read

All You Can Read

25 Mar 2014 10:01 AM | Brian DeFiore (Administrator)
There has been an awful lot of talk recently (and several million dollars invested, I imagine) concerning a subscription business model for publishing. The intent is for someone to create "the Netflix of books," (I'll call it NFFB) which several different start-ups are claiming title to.

The question for us as agents, of course, like in everything we do: Is such a thing good for our clients, the authors?

I frankly don't see how it can be.

I think it's pretty obvious: Let's say a consumer can buy access to all the books they can read in the course of a month for, say, $10. That's the price point that seems to be the 'sweet spot' at the moment. No one is charging more than that for a subscription service, and it's hard to imagine in fact that the price won't drop as competition mounts, as it has done at Netflix and virtually every other digital subscription business.

The same $10 can buy you one e-book. Or fewer than one trade paperback. Or less than half a hardcover.

I have heard (but have not yet seen on royalty statements) that publishers who are participating in these programs are being paid for each loan (and are they technically loans or purchases?) as if it had been an e-book purchase, and that they are in turn paying authors the full digital royalty that would be due if the subscription copy had actually been bought at retail. If that's true, in the short term, no terrible damage has been done to our clients. In fact, it might well be a plus. More consumers being drawn into the book marketplace thanks to the lower pricing model. And the publisher and the author get paid as if the book had been bought at full e-book price. Enticing...

But how can anyone believe that this model is sustainable for the long term? If a customer reads more than one book a month (or maybe two if the books are low priced), the subscription service loses money. And if that customer is not going to read more than one book a month-- then why join NFFB? There's only one way this works: the 'gym membership' phenomenon: the majority of people who sign up and pay their dues don't use the service much (in this case, an average of less than one book a month) and their negative usage is more than the positive usage by the power readers. If so, the service makes money in the aggregate.

So it seems to me that, sure-- maybe NFFB will bring in some new customers who think that they SHOULD be reading and would like to read more. They pay their $10 a month and buy three books a year. On those customers, the service has made money and if they can sucker in enough of those people their model has worked. The customer has gotten $30 worth of books for $120. But at some point the consumers drop out when they realize how little they are getting. Maybe it takes a year, maybe two, but if they are spending for a service that they don't use enough, at some point they will wise up. In the gym membership business the consumer base, seemingly, never ends: not only does virtually EVERYBODY want to get fit each January... the same people often re-sign year after year, or every other year, hoping that this will be the year they stick with it.

But is the same thing true of readers? This is what really scares me about this model. I've been in the business quite a long time, as have most of you in the AAR. And I think it's profoundly naive to believe that the market of readers in this country is endless. The reading of book-length material has always been one that has a relatively small and intensely devoted customer base, and in particular when compared to the true mass market media businesses: movies, television, music. We all know this: we are THRILLED when a book sells a hundred thousand copies. In those other businesses, executives would lose their heads for sales at that level. Books are simply not a true 'mass' business.

This industry has always been sustained by the relatively small percentage of people who read new books, bolstered by the occasional phenomenon that brings in people who don't normally read books (50 Shades, Harry Potter, Hunger Games etc.) and the deep backlist full of the gems that live forever. It seems to me that this model gives the limited number of customers who buy A LOT of books the ability to do so at a staggeringly reduced cost. Good for them, sure... and for as long as the business model stays the way it's structured now, I guess it could be good for authors and publishers. But how can we trust that the model will stay the way it is now? What happens when a huge percentage of power readers switch over to NFFB and read two, three or five books a month the way that they do now? Those additional sales come out of the retail marketplace, and eat into the profit margin of NFFB. So again, in order to believe this is sustainable you have to believe that either 1) NFFB will continue to grow its customer base indefinitely, making up for the losses on power readers with more and more January gym rats; or, if that's unsustainable 2) they will stop paying publishers full price and then, therefore, publishers will pay authors a lower royalty per read. At that point, either the publishers agree to a new, lower fee structure, or NFFB closes its doors and all their customers are left hanging and angry-- likely to blame publishers and authors for being greedy, which seems to be the default marketplace mood at the moment.

Or I guess there is a third possibility. One of these services gets enough of a market share that Wall Street (or a company with Wall Street money) keeps it operating without it needing to earn a profit. We know how well THAT has served the competitive market for books.

And yes, I know-- NFFB would be good for consumers. And what's good for consumers is always good for business. Isn't that what everyone in the know says? Particularly Wall Street?

Well, I don't buy it. A $99 round-trip ticket New York-Rome would sure be good for consumers. As would a $15 main course at The Four Seasons and a $45 pair of Manolo Blahnik's. But those things aren't happening.

Why? For the same reason $.99 e-book titles are selling fewer copies than THE GOLDFINCH or INSURGENT or THE FAULT IN OUR STARS or SYCAMORE ROW at seven, eight, nine, ten times the price. Because quality books are worth paying for. Consumers care more about the time it's going to take to read a book than about the price they have to pay for it. They want quality, they want sure things, they want an experience that is going to be a fulfilling one. They want to spend their precious time reading the books that they want to read-- for whatever reason. And they are willing to spend more for them.

And also because good things cost more to produce. Yes, we all know that a digital copy costs virtually nothing. But I'm not going to rehash the argument about all the effort and expense it took to get a book to the point that it is ready to be downloaded and/or bought in a retail store. Right now I'll only mention one: the year or two or ten that it took a single creative individual to write it. That author put a huge investment into their own work. Risking their ability to profit from that work on an unsustainable business model seems reckless to me.

We need to protect our client's ability to earn a living from the work that they do, and I don't see how this NFFB model is going to help. In the best of worlds, this model means that most of the income will be coming in great part from people who are NOT reading the books but paying for a service they're not using. Or by investors betting on the misguided belief that the market of readers is endless if only prices were lower. I would love to believe the selling point: that authors' incomes will be bolstered by the massive numbers of new readers enticed into the marketplace by these services. But until there's some evidence, I think the risk is higher than the possible reward. We have had enough trouble keeping the market strong with the downward pressure on prices from e-books and mass retailers. Do we need to throw this dangerous model into the mix?

"A Letter Found"

A Letter Found

“It’s dated June 12 of 1916 so this is old. ‘To whoever is most unfortunate to find this letter and this place, I would suggest you leave as fast as you can and get off this evil mountain and never, never come back it is cursed.”

“Great a cursed cave now, sounds weird sis” Levi said.

“Just hold on and let me read this ok, it’s kind of interesting don’t you think a mystery maybe.”

“I am Frederick the son of Norman Adare the miner who lived here but has now long since vanished and we have not been able to locate him. My older brother Alex has gone for help but he has been gone quite a long time and I fear he may not have made it to Beaver for help. This is a cursed place for bad things have happened to anyone who has been foolish enough to stay here too long.

The Ute speak of a great evil in these mountains and that they should be avoided, they warned us not to mine, hunt or travel here that the evil spirits of the underworld roam these lands and will take anyone who is foolish to travel here down into their spirit realms and are never heard from or seen again.  We did not believe in their hog wash stories about spirits, ghosts or their demons and the like for they are just uneducated Indians after all full of dumb myths.  That is what we thought at first but now I am not so sure. Dad is gone and I have abandoned working the mine and barricaded myself here in this cave for safety. Strange things have come in the night; they are quiet and have carried off the mules and supplies now I remain alone. I am running out of provisions and do not know how much longer I can stay, I do know that whatever creature or demons are outside the door I can hear it scrapping and clawing at the door and pushing on it during the night trying to open it to get to me.  They leave a three toed large print, larger than that of a grizzly bear and I do not know what it could be. I do know this I seem to be a prisoner now and if I  venture out by day I am not able to get very far for the demons seem to come in the dusk and I must flee back to this cave for safety, I do not think I can travel to Beaver to escape,  as in the open at night they would catch me it’s over a day’s hike back to Beaver so for now it’s safer in the cave I hope Alex will come back soon with help I think it’s the only way I will survive.   Alex if you read this I am leaving the extra gun in case you need it.  And if you do not find me then I have either made my escape and will find you in Beaver or the demons have taken me. You are warned! Leave and never return there is some strange evil here a dark magic. I hear something,

Alex there is a strange humming sound behind the back wall its glowing white hot like when the black smith melts iron, I cannot leave I am trapped for the demons are back at the door again, know this, not sure how much time I have so I must end this letter, tell the family I love them. I must go; I hear them, the demons they are coming..."

Kickstarter.com project = Dud... 29 hrs left = failed it would seem. So Next!

Kickstarter.com project = Dud... failed it would seem with less than 29 hrs left. So Next!

It would seem from this experiance that you need to Hire the pro crowd funding agencies and pay them to make crowd funding work.

Since I had/have -0- income to hire such companies this has not been successful despite all the things I did on my own.

So Next! Maybe next year I can save up a few thousand dollars to promote another crowd funder (tax return) , maybe try pubslush.com designed more for publishing.

Mean time will hope to sell a 1014 Hesston hydroswing swather 1979 for I hope 1800.00 , if I can I will epublish the book before Christmas on my own through Bookbaby.com they have been really helpful and have earned it. As well as a book print of 100 copies when I can find that funding, most likely the tax return, so by next April I should have at least the 1st 100 printed copies available.

thanks to the few who showed interest.

NEXT! We never Give up..

Excerpt Book 1, Part of Chapter 8 - Pure Heart Guide - Twin Lakes Reunion.

Book Excerpt (Teaser)
Part of Chapter 8,
Book 1 “Twin Lakes Reunion”

 Pure Heart Guide Book Series.

"Is there progress with the new subject yet?"  Sosaeen Garsar the second leader of the science group of level seven, Asked.

"Little, we have not been able to proceed as quickly as with past subjects of this same age group, It is unusual as his spirit seems quite strong for one so young," Answered lab tech. Elasseear Garsar.

"What seems to be the difficulty, is the youngling too much for your limited processing capability? You were informed that I need this one's essence; it feels strong and would be of much worth to me.  I do not want your pitiful excuses this time, just do as you’re told."

"We are doing our best, we must get around his mental walls, It is taking longer with this one, for as you have said it is stronger than most of the subjects brought to us." Replied Elasseear bowing his head ever so slightly, to show respect but yet not allowing himself to be totally exposed to the potential physical retaliation, Leader Sosaeen did have a reputation for this when he was displeased.

"I shall expect it soon, if not then you will be replaced by one who can be of better service, and you may be sent to the Tessa's for retraining." Sosaeen glared at this lab tech. Elasseear, he was capable but he had no patience, nor tolerance for weak excuses for not producing quick results.  Weak links had to be removed for the Garsar to keep strong.

"It shall be done." He waited for 2nd Leader Sosaeen Garsar to leave the room before exhaling a low hiss of irritation, the last thing I would want would to be demoted to such a low existence as to be with the Tessa.

Turning to his assistance he said in a guttural growling hiss, "If we fail 2nd leader Sosaeen I will not be the only one punished, I shall take you all with me do you understand!"

The others in the room all nodded and as a group bowed slightly and said, " Tech Leader Elasseear we shall not fail you or ourselves, let us see why this youngling is being so difficult, there is an easy answer, it just eludes us at the moment." said Lassoos.

They all turned to look into the room they had the human boy in, he was strapped to the table and still unconscious, those human soldiers were idiots, as they had used way too much stun force on this little one.

"Let’s stimulate his brain to awaken him and in doing so that may help expedite the harvesting process." Elasseear said to his team.

"Lassoos awaken this one then, and allow a member of team 4 into the room to monitor the boy as he awakes for he shall then see one of his own kind and not be so confused, as a calmer mind is easier for the harvesting process." Elasseear told his assistant.

Lassoos wasted no time, he left the room walked across to the room where science team 4 was. He opened the door and announced.

"I need one of you to assist with a subject, to monitor him as we awaken him." Lassoos looked down on the smaller humans, even though they were weak and physically revolting creatures some did have strong minds for science and things that were of use to the collective, at least for the moment. He turned and walked back out the door not waiting for a response, and stood in the hall awaiting his helper.

The members of science team 4 looked at each other in agreement.

"Well looks like it’s your turn George, the rest of us have other things to do, you know the procedures so just follow your orders and the rules of contact and you will do well. And remember do not address them unless they first speak to you." Science Team Leader Dr. Stanton said.

Even after all the years of working with the Nemekans he still thought they were an arrogant bunch of creatures, however they had much in the ways of science to share with us and the end results is what counted not what one does to get there.

"Yes sir, on my way." George a 3rd class tech said as he left the room to follow the Nemekans.

As soon as the human helper came out or their room Lassoos entered the room holding the subject without a word. The human just followed, like the sheep they were.

"You must watch the subject as we awaken him in order to start the harvesting process; you are to help him remain calm until it is over.  This one is unusual; it has taken more effort than normal. Do you understand?" He told the helper.

"Yes I understand, proceed I am ready to assist." George replied.

Why is it these Nemekans had to drain the life force from these kids he did not fully understand, but orders where orders and it was not his business what they did with it, although he wondered at times.  He went over to the table where the subject was bound and awaited his assignment as he looked down upon the helpless young boy.

The first thing Levi felt was a throbbing head ache, like when the mule kicked him in the head a few years ago. He slowly opened his eyes and the bright lights made them ache even worse. So he closed them then slowly blinked several times holding them half closed in order to ease the discomfort.  He realized that he could not move, his arms, legs, and chest where all strapped down somehow, His head was also strapped to where he could not turn it, and it felt like he was on a cold metal table.

He started to panic, and fear began to engulf his senses like a tidal wave, what was going on, where was he, and why was he tied down? Where is Sariah?

He tried to scream but his throat was too dry and only a small croak came out and that hurt with the attempt.

"Anyone there?" he asked in a panicked dry voice.

"I am here." George answered as he moved over the boy so he could see him.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"You’re in the Hospital?" He replied.

"What happened to me, where's my sister, and why am I tied down?"

"You are in the specialized trauma room for traffic accident victims, you were in a terrible car wreck and you’re not to move that is why we used straps, we fear you may have some severe spinal cord damage. So do not move. As for your sister, I do not know about her as I am only assigned to you."

George answered, glowing within himself at how easy it was to create such a realistic story, how easily it was to fool this little boy.

"A Car Wreck? I don't remember being in a car, we were exploring a cave and then there was a light and well, then I woke up here." Levi said confused.

"Temporary amnesia is common when one has been in such a terrific accident, and you should feel lucky as you are the only one in the car to have survived the wreck. You have been in a comma for two weeks now, it may be difficult for you to understand right now I know, but we will help you in time to regain some of your memories." George was actually enjoying this game of setting the subject at ease before his essence would be taken. How simple it was to manipulate this type of person. Besides it helped break up the boredom of working down here.

"I was Not in a car wreck, where is my sister, and who are you and what are you really doing, I feel just fine, except that my head really hurts." Levi said, and he was starting to get scared again, this guy did not seem like any doctor or nurse he ever met before.  And the room did not resemble any hospital ER or clinic room for that matter he had ever seen before. He knew he needed a drink because his throat was really hurting now with all this talking.

"Hey can I get a drink by throat really hurts?"

"Sure hold on a moment and I will be right back" He said as he walked to the other side of the room where he picked up a bottle of water off of the table, then he brought it back and held it to the boys lips so he could get a drink.

Slowly Levi drank a little at a time until he felt he had drunk enough water, it was nice and cool on his throat and it felt much better.

'Thanks, now tell me again what is going on, and where is my sister?" He asked again.

Why this little snot was just playing him for a drink, George thought.

"I do not know of any sister, your alone, everyone like I told you already, who was with you died in the car wreck." George said as he slowly walked around the table studying the boy.

"You see denial is normal in situations like yours, however you need to realize your family is all gone, and now you need to focus on yourself to recover."

"No! I remember exploring a cave, I remember that."

"That is normal, you see you remember a cave, your mind created this illusion to protect you in your comma state, now you have left the cave as you’re getting better, and your mind realizes this and has allowed you to re-awaken once more."

"I just don't get it; it does not make any sense."

Meanwhile in the adjoining room we find the Nemekans preparing once again to harvest the boy’s essence. Elasseear looked at Lassoos and snarled the command.

"Lower the cranial cap once again, and let us not have any errors this time, the subject seem calm and alert enough."

"It shall be done as you wish." Lassoos replied as he used the controls at his station to begin the harvesting procedure one more.  He watched as the cranial cap was lowered towards the subjects head again, fully confident that it would work this time.

Levi noticed something being lowered from above towards his head, it was coming and would hit him soon and there was no way he could avoid it.

"Hey what's that thing for? You better stop it before it hits me."

"Don't worry, it is only a type of MRI scan, it will not hurt you it will come down gently just above your head and scan you close but without touching. We have to see why you have been in a comma so long, and if there are any other side effects now since you’re awake." George told the boy.

Sound like this guy is sticking to his story, well I really don't remember any car wreck, we were in the cave, but something happened now I am here, he wondered what was going on, this does not feel right at all.

As the device lowered and came closer to his head it lit up with a greenish blue glow, and with a kind of a sparkle in the center of it. This did not feel right at all, and he remembered seeing scans before and this was no MRI that he knew for sure.

"Hey can you stop and wait for my parents to come, I want to see my parents, they should be around here in the waiting room, so go get them." Levi asked.

"Remember when I told you everyone with you in the car died; your parents were also killed in the accident. I am sorry we have not been able to locate any next of kin at this time.  We need to do this exam to be able to treat you so we can get you healthy faster." George was almost gloating with how simple it was to twist and keep the subject occupied, it would only be a few moments longer and his job would be done, and the Nemekans would have their little essence from this one and he could go finish his own projects.

Levi just laid there what else could he do, he knew this guy was full of lies, he knew there was no car wreck, and he was lying to him but why? What was this all about? Now he started getting really afraid as the light thing came closer and was almost close enough to touch now.

He remembered what he had learned in Sunday school about prayer when you’re in a bad situation, and he figured this could be one of those situations. The only thing he could do was pray, and asks Jesus Christ to help him. So he began to pray silently in his mind, the closer the light came the harder he prayed, he felt really strange and knew he was in trouble, so he prayed with his whole heart and soul, he asked Jesus for protection, and for someone to help him, and to get him out of this place.

As he was praying he felt a deep warmth begin to fill his whole being he had felt the spirit before but nothing like this, this was really intense, it seemed to fill his whole body, and his fear subsided as he remembered how to calm his spirit as his dad had taught him.

As the device finally came into place the countenance of the subject changed, the monitors showed a different growth and change in the essence, it now filled the spectrum with unusual colors that led to a brilliant light then the monitor went blank.

In astonishment, Lassoos turned slowly to look at Elasseear.

"Tech Leader Elasseear, I am no longer reading the essence of the subject, something has gone wrong with our equipment, and it seems to have malfunctioned."

"What? That is not possible, what is the matter? What has happened?" Elasseear spoke.

"I am not fully aware of what has taken place, I have not witnessed such an event before, as the cranial cap came into place and we began energizing it for the harvesting process, there seemed to have been a power surge of energy from the subject and this enveloped and over powered the device now making it useless, it seems to be broken." Lassoos replied.

George stood above the boy, and he realized the boy was mumbling incoherently then he noticed that the device was no longer working. The lights that usually emanated from it were gone as if it had been turned off.  What were these idiot Nemekans doing now, he had better things to do than sit here all day dealing with their problems wasting his time.

Elasseear thought a moment, Sosaeen had said this was an unusually strong subject and that would explain the possibility of what had just occurred.  It was rare, very rare indeed for such a thing as this to happen, and yet it did happen.

"Tech Lassoos, do a complete check on all your equipment, I want a full diagnostic. I think I may have a reason why this has taken place, while you do this I will speak with 2nd Leader Sosaeen on this event."

"It shall be done my leader Elasseear, what of the human helper shall we send him back to his hole?"

"Tell him to leave and return to his duties, do not allow the subject to see our kind, yet. Is that understood, we may need to address this subject by other means, it is very unusual this one, the judgment of 2nd Leader Sosaeen will be known before we proceed further understood!" Elasseear hissed with firmness.

"As you command" Lassoos said, then he watched as Tech Leader Elasseear turned to leave the room. Then Lassoos keyed the intercom to the room.

"Tech your work is done for now, you may return to your duties."

George heard the intercom squawk the command to leave, so he did just that, he turned to leave the room.

"Hey, where are you going? You just can't leave me here?" Levi all but yelled at the guy who was walking out the door.

"Don't worry, you’re in good hands, they will come and take care of you soon. That I promise so don't worry alright." George replied, with a smirk on his face as he shut the door to the room.  Thinking that boy has no idea what’s in store for him, Oh Well! not any of his business, finally he could get back to his own list of duties he had to finish.

Levi heard the door close, then all was quiet, he noticed the lights from the scanner thing above his head had turned off, so they must be done doing whatever they did with it then.  He still felt a nice warm glow all over his body. He had a feeling all would be ok in the future. Almost like he heard a distant voice, a calm soft voice say, "All is well we are here to help you, you will be fine, be at peace for we are with you little brother." He started feeling sleepy and slowly felt himself drift off into a soft warm place of a dream world.

A family struggles with the unexpected accept their fates in a search for those lost, light vs darkness, At stake is Humanities future
"Twin Lakes Reunion" Book 1 of the Pure Heart Guide series is completely written. Ready for the next stage.
The funds will be used to finishing the editing then e-publish the book at babybooks, and for the printing of physical books, mailing out rewards, fee's / costs to do these things.
I plan to approach local business and counties that are in the physical locations of the book to see if they also will assist in funding the project by advertising their business's and county tourism sites inside the book.
We are located in the top area's of the USA for ATV trails, fishing, hiking, etc.
Some other idea's I have to assist in the printing of physical books to place at traditional sites in the region for sale, and advertising costs for this project, posters, radio, newspaper, etc.
I am excited about this project and am confident in the books story to be successful and entertaining to people, I will also plan writting the 2nd book in the series of 5 needed to tell the tale once this 1st one is done.
This is a sample from the story:

Risks and challengesLearn about accountability on Kickstarter

The challenge of a first book, is finding the right publisher to partner with. I feel that it is important to keep the rights of the material after all the creative hard work done. So I am comfortable with an E Book company bookbabycom they have a good track record and have had clients funded by kickstarter before. I also will research for a good print on demand for hard copies of the books.
Choosing good partners is important once everything is satisfactory e-publishing and hard copies rewards will be sent.
The biggest risk is that people may not like the story, I believe they will.
You see the real story is not that which I have written; it is a joint experience between what the words are on paper and what you have created them to be in your mind. Together the writer and the reader create the true life of a story; I hope it is a good one for you.
